About Me

I’m Prisha, and I started MindWell as a way to connect the things I care most about: art, mental health, and making sure people feel seen.

I grew up in Dublin, Ohio, but I’ve spent a lot of time in India, where I first noticed how limited mental health support can be, especially for kids with disabilities. That hit close to home for me because of my uncle, Mehul, who has Down syndrome. He’s one of the kindest, most creative people I know, but I’ve seen how often people overlook him. What always stood out to me was how much peace he found in art. Even when words were hard, drawing or painting helped him express everything he was feeling. That’s what planted the seed for MindWell.

I wanted to create a space where others, kids like Mehul, or teens struggling with anxiety, or elders facing memory loss, could use art to express themselves without fear or judgment. What started as a small idea has now grown into something I never expected. MindWell runs art therapy sessions in India and the U.S., from schools and libraries to clinics and retirement homes. We partner with local therapists, educators, and nonprofits like NAMI to bring creativity into places where mental health is often ignored.

At the end of the day, MindWell isn’t just about painting. It’s about creating space for healing and connection
